Louis
Reeves was born in Toronto during the Great
Depression. He has
worked in many areas from farming to teaching and public administration. He has
traveled extensively
throughout Europe and North America, where he studied at several American
and Canadian universities. He now lives in Ottawa where he
received
an M.A. from Carleton University. His poetry was published by
Crow Eagle Press
in the form of chapbooks. Some of his poems have appeared in
publications like
"ByWords", "Indian
Land", "EcoLatino", and the
"URBANATIVE NEWS"
and several online poetry sites. He has read his poetry with many groups
and has been a featured reader at "El Dorado" and the "Dusty Owl" in Ottawa.
